Machine: Virtual Box 4.0.0 r69151 Processor: Intel Q8300 2.5 Ghz Quad Core Memory: 8GB DDR2 Partitions: Raw new disk Base System Installation Checklist: [O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it Initial boot: [O] Detect network card: [O] Configure network: [O] Detect CD: [O] Load installer modules: [O] Detect hard drives: [O] Partition hard drives: [O] Install base system: [O] Clock/timezone setup: [O] User/password setup: [O] Install tasks: [O] Install boot loader: [O] Overall install: [O] Comments/Problems: when installing the OS in virtual box the graphical interface and base system package group options the system displays no progress bar or any information on the screen as to what the installer is doing (just displaying a blue screen) leading myself to belive (more then once) that the installer had failed or crashed without any obvious cause leaving the install for about 20 minutes it then will display a complete message installing just a base system does not present this problem -- Ryan [email protected]
