Package: Installer
Using the current installer (
ftp://ftp.debian.nl/debian/dists/lenny/main/installer-amd64/current/images/netboot/
) it doesn't recognize the Intel Gigabit network card 8257/6.
The E1000 driver is included in the installer but seems to be to old for
this network card.

Hi,
Thanks for your report.
Closing as it's an installation report from a debian installer version
which isn't supported anymore.
Feel free to test and report any issues against the current debian
installer release (Squeeze RC1) which supports more hardware and also
it's improved.
Thanks!

Details on the installation manual on how to load non-free firmware, if
needed.
