Make sure your svn url is svn+ssh://[email protected]/svn/d-i/trunk/packages/po and not svn+ssh://[email protected]/svn/d-i/trunk/packages/po because the latter is the read-only copy of the former. You can use svn switch --relocate svn+ssh://[email protected]/svn/d-i/trunk/packages/po svn+ssh://[email protected]/svn/d-i/trunk/packages/po to switch from one to the other.
