Debian 6.0.2 I cat'ed http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze/main/installer-kfreebsd-amd64/current/images/netboot/mini.iso (the current symlink point to ... ftp://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze/main/installer-kfreebsd-amd64/20110106+squeeze3/images/netboot/mini.iso md5sum: c934ac1f2b3245e617fe72347605f004) to an USB stick and booted it.
I got the same as in original report: no keyboard layout choice. >From memory,I selected: English, other/Europe/Slovenia , United States... then it went forward, until during the password and name input I realized it used the wrong keyboard layout.
