Instead, the screen blinks white real quick then returns to the menu for modifying that particular partition with the same "Mount Options:" menu option selected. It's possible I have done something wrong up to this point, but as far as I can tell the option checklist should appear just as it does for ext3 for example. It is possible that this is more directly related to partman-base, but I chose to report against partman-ext3 since it is specifically the ext4 menu option that seems broken.
