Hi, I was just looking at this rather ancient bug report, is it still relevant?
It looks like the patch is based on an older version of the code, prior to the use of the db format from the looks of it (before my time). I don't see support for any of the other vexpress platforms (i.e. the newer a15 based ones). Is that worth adding or do modern vexpress's not boot the same way? At least some of them now have the option of things like UEFI or u-boot boot.scr or even grub arm-uboot I think (and there that first stage firmware thing and board.txt, not sure how that fits in). In a modern Debian we'd want to support this via the armmp kernel flavour and perhaps even treat it as a generic platform as discussed in "archdetect guessing on arm* != armel" on debian-arm recently.
