I should have been more explicit in describing what I have tried. I initially tried specifying the 3.10-3 kernel and then tried again with the 3.14-2 kernel. Both failed and the failures were different only in the version number of the kernel. Here is the kernel specification I am using now: KERNELVERSION = 3.14-2-alpha-generic KERNELMAJOR = 3.14 And here are the errors from the latest run: Building dependency tree...
