Jessie installation

I am having
difficulties installing 'Debian GNU/Linex 8_Jessie_-Official Snapshot
amd64 LIVE/INSTALL Binary 20150908' on a 'HP Pavilion 23-g125t AiO
PC'.



The Error
occurred after running of: Running post-installation trigger menu
(amd64)
in the Select
and install software package



Followed by (The
last frame): Cleaning up …    The last frame before the system goes
white and the following error message is displayed:



“An
installation step failed. You can try to run the failing item again
from the menu, or skip it and choose something else. The failing step
is: Select and install software”



And attempt to
skip the failing step produces the error message:
"GRUB
installation failed 




The 'grub-pc'
packaged failed o install into /target/. Without the GRUB ….
the system will
not boot"
