Control: reassign -1 open-iscsi 2.1.3-5 Control: affects -1 debian-installer Control: tag -1 d-i
Hi, Reports against d-i.debian.org are usually about our infrastructure and tooling, you could have filed the report against debian-installer instead, which makes for a better default package. :) 2lv63...@duck.com <2lv63...@duck.com> (2022-03-17): > When using the Debian 11 netinst.iso or mini.iso installer, iSCSI does not > work. > > Boot the installer and go through the dialogs (continue with no disk > assuming a diskless client) until the "Partition disks" task. > > Select "Configure iSCSI volumes" -> "Log into iSCSI targets" -> Enter portal > information > > Error pops up "No iSCSI targets discovered" regardless of settings used. That's not an issue about installation images (which would be for debian-cd), but about a component that's linked against a library that's not available in the installer's context. Hence the reassigning above. I might look into it shortly, but I need to get (old)stable point release preps squared away first. Would you be happy to test a tweaked mini.iso that I'd build for you to test?
