Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? Installed Trixie, then installed more packages using apt. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Hoped for the page in very old installers with selectors for more applications, including publishing and software development. * What was the outcome of this action? Had to install more packages using apt. * What outcome did you expect instead? Years ago the installer offered a page with selectors for more application areas, in particular software development (gfortran, gcc, gnat, nedit) and publication (LaTeX). Please provide such a page again. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.12.48+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/32 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled debian-installer-13-netboot-amd64 depends on no packages. debian-installer-13-netboot-amd64 recommends no packages.
