Hello all, Wikimedia Foundation SRE makes extensive use of debian-installer and its preseed facility. For quick iteration on preseed values without having hardware in the loop I have put together the following tool: https://gitlab.wikimedia.org/repos/sre/preseed-test
The instructions are tailored for our Puppet repository and its partman recipes, as a whole though the tool should be WMF-specific. I am sharing in case someone else has a similar need and of course I'm happy to assist and make it useful for more folks as well. best, Filippo
