It seems there is a problem to install Sarge (using recent d-i) on machines (i386) where no /dev/hda is present, but the disk to install to is IDE anyway. Specifically, someone told me he has a problem with a small (barebone) PC where the first real IDE harddisk is /dev/hdc. D-i thinks there is not harddrive in it.
Did someone already notice this? Is there a way to tell him to forcibly use /dev/hdc? Thanks -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
