Install went smoothly. Kernel compile rougher. Need a "road map" where stuff goes when dpkg -i
is done on things like alsa-base, alsa-utils, etc.
Sound installation is very broken.
Install logs and other status info is available in /var/log/debian-installer/.

NB! Removing symetric multi-processing causes many kernel compile errors.
