Package: install Version: N/A; reported 2006-04-04 Severity: critical When attempting to install Debian Sarge from a SATA CDROM the installation CD will boot and get to the point where it is trying to load a CDROM driver. It then either hangs or asks for a floppy containing drivers for the CDROM. Since it booted from the CDROM the hardware is obviously working. It seems that the installation system does not have the necessary drivers for a SATA CDROM and is thus unable to install.
