The partitioning completes with the creation of the filesystem. The partitions itself are created at a later step during RAID setup. The installation stops with the error "no / defined". Thats true because all partitions are marked as software RAID partition. Creating the RAID is only possible after completion of the partitioning process which can only be completed after creating the RAID. Workaround: I selected one partition as "/" and was able to complete the partitioning. Then I created the RAID and was now able to create file system structure on it. Solution: it should be possible to complete the partitioning task without "/" when the partitions created are marked for use by software RAID. Additional the order is confusing. Creation of RAID is sorted after the creation of LVM. But I think it would be done always in the reversed order: first create RAID then the LVM on it. The last steps are not completed because the kernel traps turing file system creation. If I read correctly this should be fixed meanwhile.
