-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Just a couple of quick observations on the powerpc port,
It looks like the quik-installer from sarge worked (I did a sarge install as the basis for my development powerpc). I'll do some digging to see what's different. The 2006-06-25 cdrom and hd-based installs for powerpc hang at the MMU:exit step of booting the kernel when booted with BootX. I'm not sure when this broke; I was using the miBoot floppies for my tests, but the previously working images were broken by the abi change, and no working floppies have been created since. The build process for the miBoot floppies is currently broken. This means oldword powerpc macintosh is currently uninstallable, at least on the machines I have access too. - -- And that's my crabbing done for the day. Got it out of the way early, now I have the rest of the afternoon to sniff fragrant tea-roses or strangle cute bunnies or something. -- Michael Devore -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFEohQGhvWBpdQuHxwRAiqUAKCO9TZmTVyoVAiThH9C7SF4GTj8bwCeK9kg YIqZ2ltKYe6724Y2iWz931Q= =3yOM -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
