Well the keymap works, but the problem is that in G-I environment the ecoding used seems to be iso8859-1 and not utf-8. Needless to say this is not good at all. See attached image to understand the problem The diplayed characters should be "âăşţî ÂĂŞŢÎ". That is: a circumflex, a breve, s cedilla, t cedilla, i circumflex (and their capital counterparts). The second, "ă", is not correct either, since instead of a breve is a tilde above the a. > the iso is named that way because in /usr/local/bin you'll find test > binaries from DirectFB-examples, which may be useful for debugging > purposes, especially df_input > > [1] https://debian.polito.it/downloads/mini_dfbexamples.iso The df_input app displayed the same issue. I did my tests in the edit used for static IP configuration :-D - -- Regards, EddyP ============================================= "Imagination is more important than knowledge" A.Einstein -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFcCtTY8Chqv3NRNoRAhb6AJ47JTux/3mu3N9QQruC5uqKzJuReQCfaM4n TUeEBd0ePJDLzF4HZpjQO4c= =hWrR -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
