It's been a while since I installed to a slug, and I'm working on an armeb version of d-i for it. I saw one problem that is either new since last time I installed, or somehow armeb-specific (doubt it):
The slug boots into lowmem level 2, in which all standard priority udebs are not automatically selected. Amoung those not auto-selected is usb-storage-modules. So if you don't manually pick it from the list, no disk.. -- see shy jo
