Being the initial reporter of this wishlist, and the maintainer of gcin package, I agree to remove gcin from tasksel. Current gcin in Etch depends on a certain version of IMdkit, which conflicts with Adobe Flash 9. Gcin 1.3.3 depends on a different IMdkit, and have no more this problem. However, since Etch have been freezed, I think it is better to remove gcin form tasksel than push a newer gcin into Etch.
