That could have been for many reasons, including random problems downloading a package from a mirror. Please run the installation again, and if it fails again send us the syslog for the installation (gzipped!). The syslog can be found in /var/log/syslog; see also the option "Save debug logs" in the main menu of the installer. Without the syslog, we cannot investigate this.
