Is it understood how one determines which device file (hvsi0, hvsi1 or hvc0) Open Firmware associates with the console as it pertains to IBM System p servers?
This can be determined by looking at properties under /proc/device-tree. Please let me know if this is needed and I will find the documentation. I know how it is accomplished, I just need to make sure that I point to documentation already released by IBM. Rolf Brudeseth [EMAIL PROTECTED]
