Comments/Problems:

Install appeared to be successful (no errors) but system won’t complete
boot. Appears to boot/load everything but then screen goes blank and stops.
At this point can’t seem to type anything to get it to move on. Only option
is to press Reset button (reboots system) or On/Off switch. If press On/Off
switch, screen temporarily reactivates and can see that system is at login
prompt, but can’t type anything. System then shuts down.

I am a complete novice with Linux so have no knowledge to diagnose or
resolve this problem. Help!
