So, it works with this solution. Thank you for your explanation! Base System Installation Checklist: [O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it Initial boot: [O] Detect network card: [O] (Manual configuration => b44: Broadcom 4400 10/100 PCI Ethernet) Configure network: [O] Detect CD: [O] Load installer modules: [O] Detect hard drives: [O] Partition hard drives: [O] Install base system: [O] Clock/timezone setup: [O] User/password setup: [O] Install tasks: [O] Install boot loader: [O] Overall install: [O] The installation took place perfectly, with the exception of the network connection. After googled and read some reports, I just tried to "reload" my network card by running modprobe b44. It works well now. Thank you again :-) > Note that we will be switching to a 2.6.24 kernel soon for the installer, so > it may be good to try again then. > I will try again Best regards, Christophe -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
