downloaded the iso again and md5sum
debian-20061213-kfreebsd-i386-install.iso shows
f8c1531e61750e757ba6600687186ff3 debian-20061213-kfreebsd-i386-install.iso
whilst in the web page it is
51e8a958b07199f2c3904083dd55062e1d3021d9bbe68771a2e7f9ce4e6868e1a512b00289fee538bcf78e3205c292faaad5cdfa2f9ba6c00d57a55c828ad4ce
debian-20061213-kfreebsd-i386-install.iso
this is obviously not the same message digest...
now what?
The digest on web page is in file sha512sum.asc, i.e. produced by
"sha512sum debian-20061213-kfreebsd-i386-install.iso"
But your copy is correct as
"md5sum debian-20061213-kfreebsd-i386-install.iso" on the same file produces
f8c1531e61750e757ba6600687186ff3 debian-20061213-kfreebsd-i386-install.iso
