I can't see any reason to keep kfreebsd-6 around. Keeping it and
possibly having people install and use it (for whatever reason) will
probably just cause more headaches and work in the future.

Yes, please drop kfreebsd-6 from the archive.
May be we should even bump kernel requirements together with glibc 2.10 upload and drop some compat code from glibc.

Perhaps focusing on a single kernel version/release might even make
things easier for the d-i porting effort.

We should prepare for kfreebsd-8 (tentatively scheduled for August),
so IMHO single kernel version is not an option.
