Hello, I maintain the package "conky". Below is a mail that I sent to the upstream maintainer of "conky".
conky 1.7.0 fails to build on kfreebsd since configure fails with: checking for kvm_open in -lkvm... no I don't know much about kfreebsd and only noticed this on the build logs for Debian version 1.7.0-1 at http://buildd.debian-ports.org/fetch.php?pkg=conky&arch=kfreebsd-i386&ver=1.7.0-1&stamp=1243445869&file=log&as=raw It seems as if the kvm interface has changed in the recent kfreebsd.
