Hi all,

As announced in [1], the build daemons have been switched to the
official archive, and packages are getting in.
Currently at about 60% of the packages are built on both
kfreebsd-i386 and kfreebsd-amd64, see [2], [3].

We are being blocked by hal unavailability. We are waiting for
upload of new hal upstream, which is blocked by upload of new
util-linux upstream [4].

When hal become available, it should be possible to break
"avahi" loop [5] and start building Xorg, GNOME and KDE.

Some packages need an upload to fix FTBFS, it can be
either GNU/kFreeBSD specific [6] or general [7], [8].
Guideline for GNU/kFreeBSD porter NMU [1] still applies.

Some informations about work-needing packages
are also in [9], [10], [11].

We, of course, need your help ;-)

                                        Petr
