Dear all,

I could use some friendly advice on the best procedure of porting
utilities from FreeBSD to GNU/kFreeBSD. Presently I use a kernel
for kfreebsd-amd64 with file system quota enabled. I also have
working executables

     edquota
     quota
     quotacheck
     quotaon
     repquota

It is only `rpc.rquota' that I have yet to approach.

Could a friendly soul point me to a document where I can
learn the preferred way of extracting from

    src/libexec/
    src/sbin/
    src/usr.bin/
    src/usr.sbin/

of the FreeBSD source tree, and making the select files into
a source archive suitable for GNU/kFreeBSD? As said, I can
already build the executables above, but they will now have
to be crafted into a package, probably named `quota-kfreebsd'.

Best regards,
   Mats Erik Andersson, DM
