Did slim fix keyboard+mouse for you? Did you initially install from a GUI installer, and did that have working keyboard+mouse? > Is > this a known issue with lightdm? Someone reported this as a problem when testing kfreebsd-i386 install media virtual machine. I tested it myself on real hardware though and it seemed okay.
