Thanks to both of you. For the future to avoid this situation, I have added -gstabs on kfreebsd-*. I can also add -Wl,--reduce-memory-overheads -Wl,--no-keep-memory, -Wl,--hash-size=31, or if that's not enough, I can disable debugging symbols (as we do on a few other arches).
