The packaging have not been in glibc-bsd SVN repository.
I added it from last upload. The update to 8.4 is trivial.
I don't have a plan for the migration or updates. Please go ahead with your
plan, sounds good to me...
So, please could some DD do the upload ?

"get-orig-source" recipe seems to be:
apt-get install lftp
cd <glibc-bsd SVN>
svn up
cd freebsd-manpages
debian/rules update
mkdir freebsd-manpages-8.4
cp manpages.a* freebsd-manpages-8.4/
tar czvf ../freebsd-manpages_8.4.orig.tar.gz freebsd-manpages-8.4
rm -rf freebsd-manpages-8.4/
The rest is to edit debian/changelog and usual build.
