I think it is the same problem we've seen with #727009, it affects kfreebsd's threads implementation but is triggered by 'make', and a workaround in eglibc is pending: http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/pkg-glibc?view=revision&sortby=date&revision=5750 Not sure whether this bug should be reassigned; perhaps wait until a new eglibc upload happens.
