Yeah I'd welcome that. It should probably not be part of a stable release though as it is AFAIK not maintained upstream, and may not work at all on recent versions of Linux. You could try to build it yourself, but I don't see why we can't distribute it via experimental for linux-i386 and amd64 so that people can try it out.
