Hi,
OOo is pondering to include hebrew spellchecking via (a patched) hspell;
see http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3D25832.
While the copyright problems need to be solved and it therefore only is
candidate for > 1.1.2 we still could build it as a separate package and
add it as an (external) UNO component to OOo.
However, the problem is that this version expects the dictionary files
uncompressed (see the issue for explanation why).
Is it possible to to provide them uncompressed? I would like to use
the dictionaries already in hspell instead of duplicating them...
(and at some time when I grokked how Alan did the stuff using the
library in hspell, too...)

Hi,
I close this bug since
a) the hspell support for OOo (still not packaged *grr*) can now use=20
compressed dicts.
and b) I agree that having the compressed dicts is better size-wise.
Regards,
Rene
