Version: 2.15.91.20040904.1-1
Severity: normal

Cross-compiling glib fails because windres is not included. When I
download binutils and compile myself (with --target=i586-mingw32msvc)
then windres is compiled. But it's not included with with the debian
package's binutils. Note that if you compile binutils with gnu/linux
as the target windres (along with dlltool and dllwrap and maybe other
programs, some of which may also be missing) is not built.

I don't know what the problem with building glib is, but
windres has always been in the binutils package and still
appears to be afaics.
