As Bill Allombert points out in bug 289864, forcing a replacement of
ghostview with gv could confuse users unless we also add a symlink
ghostview -> gv. Please provide such a symlink.
And in case any package depends on ghostview (which I don't think they
do), please also add ghostview to the Provides list of gv.
