Package: libimlib2
Version: 1.1.2-1
Severity: important

The following code with Image::Imlib2 demonstrates the problem aptly:

perl -MImage::Imlib2  -e 'my $i=3D new Image::Imlib2 (500,500);=20
                          $i->set_color(255,0,0,255);=20
                          $i->draw_point(10,10);=20
                          my @p =3D $i->query_pixel(10,10);
                          print qq(fail\n) unless $p[3] =3D=3D 255'

If fail is returned, libimlib2 is not working correctly.

(set_color simply calls imlib_context_set_color, and
imlib2_query_pixel calls imlib_image_query_pixel)

Downgrading to 1.1.0-12.4 fixes this problem

[In my opinion, this makes this package unsuitable for release, but
that's really your call to make, not mine.]

to run their own business. I know men that would make my wife a
better husband than I am; but, darn it, I'm not going to give her to
'em.

Description:
 libimage-imlib2-perl - perl interface to the imlib2 imaging library
Closes: 288167
Changes:
 libimage-imlib2-perl (1.03-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream release
 .
   * Add has_image function to Image::Imlib2 which is not present in
     upstream to fix the lack of alpha channel support that happened in
     libimlib2 >= 1.1.2. (closes: #288167)
 .
   * Add NEWS.Debian to indicate that the above has happened, and that new
     images default to having alpha support.
 .
   * Add rudimentary patch support to debian/rules so I can propogate the
     fix to #288167 sanely.
