I assume I'm one of the few who does not have lynx installed on one's
computer, but this revealed a nice detail - when trying to view an
html-page mc tries to invoke lynx, even with some special options.
Google has is that SuSE applied a patch to this some time and forwarded
it to the mc team. Seems like it wasn't accepted :-/
best regards,
Friedemann

Hi,
I close this bug since Lynx is not hardcoded in mc:
1- if you open an html file (Enter key), it will launch your prefered web
browser using 'run-mailcap text/html'.
2- if you view an html file (F3 key), it will launch 'lynx -dump'.
And, if you have an alternative to 'lynx -dump' you can set it in
/etc/mc/mc.ext.
Cheers,
Ludovic.
