Package: galeon
Version: 1.3.16-1
Severity: normal
I was working in my website, and had moved an old index.html to
index.html.old, without putting a new index.html in place. Trying to view
the URL in galeon (http://localhost/website/), I got a dialog asking me to
save the file, which was apparantly of type application/x-trash. Via
google, I found:
http://my.brandeis.edu/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=0001d5&topic_id=21&topic=
which told me that apache2 had told galeon that the correct file was
index.html.old, of type application/x-trash. Using wget -S, I confirmed that
this is what apache2 does.
I have now put index.html back in place, and removed index.html.old.
However, there is no way to force galeon to refetch the page: Even using
shift-reload, or typing the URL by hand in an empty tab will not result in
any request being sent to the server.

I could not reproduce your bug, and you didn't provide a way of
reproducing it, hence I'm closing the bug for now, but feel free to
reopen it if necessary.
