Subject: wmaker: race with xfree86 for 100% CPU on toggling 'omnipresent'

Package: wmaker
Version: 0.80.0-4.1
Severity: normal

hello,

I've met with what seems a race condition, don't know though it was
triggered, since it's not first time I check 'omnipresent' prop in
a window's opt panel. The situation is also quite common, dock filled
with icons, 7 screens with several icons attached to clip, some
omnipresent.
Now I've started xcalc, then checked windowopts->options->omnipresent
and xfree86 started to get 60-70% cpu while wmaker the rest.
Unchecked that opt, all became quiet again.
Then from menu, restarted wmaker, re-checked omni-opt but got same
behaviour.
Then restarted wmaker, this time with that opt enabled for xcalc: all
turned right now, except that windowopts->properties->omnipresent is
checked as well, and I can't uncheck windowopts->options->omnipresent,
ie seems that omni- in props permanently overrides opt panel options.
Then open windowopts->properties uncheck omnipresent, click Apply, and
xfree86+wmaker get again ~100% cpu.
Right-click to popup windowopts and cpu goes down normal, release and it
goes up again in a while.
Right-click to popup windowopts, but now check omnipresent (note that
windowopts->properties->omnipresent is unchecked now), release and cpu
stays normal.
Nice bug, eh? note that I tried same with other windows (eg xterm) and
got same troubles, so it's not xcalc to blame.

I made a mistake in previous attempt to merge this bug with :
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=147043

As 147043 is now fixed i close this one too.

If you still have the problem please reopen this bug report.
