Version: 4.1.9-2

The configuration file /etc/mysql/my.cnf for MySQL 4.1 comes with a wrong
variable name: old-passwords should be replaced by old_passwords.

Not having this variable set prevent older clients from connecting to the
server, which can be quite blocking in some configurations.

The list of MySQL server variables can be found at:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/server-system-variables.html

Closes: 274264 293983
Changes:
 mysql-dfsg-4.1 (4.1.9-4) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Improved the way mysqld is started and registered with update-rc.d
in cases where the admin modifies the runlevel configuration.
Most notably removed the debconf question whether or not mysql should
start on when booting. Closes: #274264
   * Renamed configuration option old-passwords to the more preferred
naming convention old_passwords. Same for some others (thanks to
     Patrice Pawlak). Closes: #293983
