Package: kernel-patch-lkcd
Version: 6.1.0-2.1
Severity: important
-- System Information:
Debian Release: 3.1
APT prefers testing
APT policy: (500, 'testing')
Architecture: i386 (i686)
Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-7-lube-686-smp
Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1)
Versions of packages kernel-patch-lkcd depends on:
ii bash 2.05b-24 The GNU Bourne Again SHell
ii grep-dctrl 2.1.8 Grep Debian package information
ii patch 2.5.9-2 Apply a diff file to an original
-- no debconf information
Doesn't apply cleanly to kernel-source-2.6.8_2.6.8-12.
Rejectes in arch/i386/kernel/i386_ksyms.c. Given the
location of the problem may well of been caused by
something I gave you - if so sorry.
Also, there are two patches with '_' in their names
in kernel-patch-lkcd_6.1.0-2.tar.gz that aren't used.
They are:
lkcd-6.1.0_2.6.8.1.patch
lkcd-6.1.0_2.6.9.patch
Looks like they were left over from a previous version.
You can find a version of lkcd-4.1-2-2.6.8.patch that
applies cleanly here:

I neglected to include the proper tag in the changelog file to close
this bug, so I am doing it this way. The newest upload of
kernel-patch-lkcd fixes this problem. From the changelog:
kernel-patch-lkcd (7.0.0-1) unstable; urgency=3Dlow
* Deleted unused files: lkcd-6.1.0_2.6.8.1.patch, lkcd-6.1.0_2.6.9.patch
these were extraneous, the patches for those kernels still exist
* Cleaned out patches that have no corresponding debian kernel-source
revision: lkcd-4.1-1-2.4.18.patch
lkcd-4.1-1.patch
lkcd-4.1-2-2.4.20.patch
lkcd-4.1-2-2.4.22.patch
lkcd-4.1-2-2.4.23.patch
lkcd-4.1-2-2.6.5.patch
* Fixed debian/kernel-patch-lkcd.kpatches.lkcd to use the proper patch
when patching the 2.6.8 kernel
* Updated debian/control to list the supported kernels, change the=20
Suggests: line to list the kernel-source versions that are supported
* Removed outdated information in README.Debian
* Added kernel patch for 2.6.10
