Package: muttprint
Version: 0.72c-2
Severity: normal

I could not print with the standard configuration; Error message:

Line 624: Latex didn't work. There's no DVI file. If you write a
bugreport, please include a mail where printing fails.

Then I installed the suggested packages
    - latex-ucs
    - latex-ucs-contrib
    - latex-ucs-uninames

and now it is working perfect.

Here is your "problem". You are using UTF-8, so you need latex-ucs. This is
why latex-ucs is in Suggests.....
This is also documented in the manual FWIW.

--- snip ---
To have support for the charset UTF-8 the LaTeX command for changing the ch=
arset must support UTF-8. This is naturally not the case! You'll find a sui=
table extension in the CTAN. Just download the file ftp://ftp.dante.de/tex-=
archive/macros/latex/contrib/supported/unicode.tar.gz and install it as des=
cribed in the file INSTALL which is included. You only need UTF-8 support i=
f you work in a UTF-8 environment. You find out the current encoding under =
Linux with the command locale charmap, on other operating systems use muttp=
rint --print-locale after Muttprint is installed.
--- snip ---

Since you have a UTF-8 environment, this applies to you. Closing the bug.
