Package: gv
Version: 1:3.6.1-7
Severity: normal

Hello,

As soon as I use --scale or --scalebase options, gv simply does not open
the file.

exemple :
        gv /usr/share/doc/gs-gpl/examples/tiger.eps.gz
works perfectly, but
        gv --scale -4 /usr/share/doc/gs-gpl/examples/tiger.eps.gz
does not.s
--scale -4 is understood by gv because in this case the window is
smaller ; but no file is opened.
If you open the file using the open button then every thing works.

I used update-alternatives to use gs-gpl or gs-afpl. It does not
matter.

This option (well, -scale instead of --scale) worked well under woody
:-(
