Package: ipe
Version: 6.0pre23-1
Severity: important

Dear Packager,

thank your for making ipe available as a debian package. I got a small
problem, though:

After upgrading ipe to version 6.0pre23-1 with aptitude, starting ipe
aborted with

Ipe has been compiled with header files for Ipelib 60023
but is (probably dynamically) linked against libipe 60022.

Looking at the Requirements in aptitude revealed, that ipe requires
libipe1, but doesnot specify which version.

Manually updating libipe1 solved the problem.

It seems ipe and libipe need to be syncroeously updated, so a version info
in the requirements would help.

sincerely

Gnter
