Package: nvu
Severity: normal

nvu uses gtk2, but not gnome (cf
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Linux_Build_Prerequisites).

Thus the gnome dependency on the nvu package is useless. If gnome is
used for a debian patch, please make a nvu-gnome package for it,
keeping the nvu package as close as possible to the upstream software.

nvu has been removed from Debian unstable because it is "abandoned
upstream", see #393065.
