'Once ago' saslauthd linked against heimdall libraries, which can not
cope with Kreberos-via-TCP (for Tickes longer than one UDP-Packet).
So we switched cyrus and saslauthd to testing and
a (not exactly known) while ago everything worked fine.
NOW in (one of the last updates?) the Problem is back.
Users, who are in 'near 10 Windows Groups' can not login
via saslauthd. Message ist 'autentication fails'.
(While 'kinit' on the same host gets correct tickets for
the same User!)
Looking at 'ldd /usr/sbin/saslauthd' I found first
libkrb.so.1 => /usr/lib/libkrb.so.1 (0x4001d000)
and later
libgssapi.so.1 => /usr/lib/libgssapi.so.1 (0x4013c000)
libkrb5.so.17 => /usr/lib/libkrb5.so.17 (0x4014d000)
May be the Connection to Active-Directory is 'opened'
with the wrong (older?) Protocol, then fails, if Win*
sends answers via TCP? (This happened in older Systems)
Is there ANY chance to get a saslauthd on pure MIT-Kerberos?
