Currently, kdiff3 installs its desktop file into /usr/share/applnk.
This locations is deprectated and the new freedesktop.org standard [1]
should be used.
The current *.desktop file is almost correct, it should be enough to add
a "Categories=Qt;KDE;Development;" line and install the *.desktop file
to /usr/share/applications/kde.
Upon installation, update-desktop-database must be called. If you add
dh_desktop to your debian/rules, it will automatically create the
necessary posinst/postrm scripts.
