Severity: normal

*** Please type your report below this line ***
I executed "sudo list --pretend" when logged in through ssh without X11
forwarding and got actually two problems which might be symptoms of the
same problem - no $DISPLAY variable:

1. List didn't recognize that I'm not on an X11 environment and kept
wondering why it can't identify my window manager

2. I got multiple "sh:: command not found" errors. Attached complete
output below:

I suspect that the "sh::" error stems from dependency on a package which
isn't installed on my system. Here is the full output:

! windowmanager detection with the desktopmanager "gdm"
! Is not supported at this time.
! I've no windowmanager detected!
! If you're running one, please put it's name and versionstring into
! the variable WINDOWMANAGER in the config file "/etc/LiSt/LiSt.conf"
! like this:
! WINDOWMANAGER=kde-3.5.1
! Then run "LiSt -u" again.

! You can help us in making this project better!
! Please try to find out, how to detect your windowmanager name
! and version and tell us in the forums on http://forum.linux-stats.org
! or on IRC in #linux-stats on irc.freenode.net.
