Hi,

I've submitted an upstream patch to add Arabic to the list of languages
supported
by the gedit spell checker (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336954)
It;s a tiny patch that adds only {"ar", N_("Arabic")} and {"ar_EG", N_("Arabic
(Egypt)")}
I know that etch is now frozen but the patch is trivial for Arabic as we now
have an
Arabic aspell dictionary in etch. Is it possible to include it please ?

The patch has been accepted upstream in the 2.16 branch.

I've attached it here too.

All the best,
